Chidi Uzoho is a Dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health and addiction care across the lifespan. With a clinical background spanning emergency care, residential treatment, detoxification programs, and outpatient psychiatry, he brings both depth and versatility to his practice.
Driven by a deep curiosity about the human mind and behavior, Chidi views psychiatry as the process of understanding the mind in order to help heal it. He specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. His clinical work includes supporting individuals in recovery from opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders through evidence-based medication-assisted treatment and comprehensive psychiatric care.
Chidi believes that mental health treatment is deeply personal and recognizes that no single approach works for everyone. He considers the many factors that influence mental well-being—including genetics, culture, lifestyle, nutrition, and Spirituality—when developing individualized treatment plans for his patients.
Known for his calm presence and structured clinical approach, Chidi prioritizes building trust, fostering open communication, and empowering patients to take an active role in their treatment journey. His goal is not only symptom stabilization, but long-term functional improvement, sustained recovery, and an enhanced quality of life.
He believes mental health and addiction treatment should be accessible, stigma-free, and rooted in dignity, respect, and compassion.
